The YPO is once again volunteering at this year’s Julia’s Garden Charity Wine Event.
On Friday, March 30, 2012, The Julia Cekala Charitable Foundation is hosting the fifth
annual “Julia’s Garden Charity Wine Event” to raise funds to benefit “Julia’s
Garden”, a popular community playground built in memory of Julia Cekala.
The Julia Cekala Charitable Foundation supports the local community through the building
and maintaining of the “Julia’s Garden and Playground” complex located in the
World War I Park in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.

On Friday March 25th the YPO was honored to volunteer and attend the 3rd Annual Julia’s Garden Charity Wine Event at Christina’s in Foxboro, MA. In addition to volunteering, the YPO donated a gift basket full of scrapbooking supplies to be raffled off. All proceeds from the event benefited the Julia Cekala Charitable Foundation.
The Julia Cekala Charitable Foundation is a nonprofit foundation that was created in memory of 9 year-old Julia Cekala. Julia was a student in the North Attleboro School system and a member of the Southeastern Massachusetts Girl Scout Troop #114. She was a patient at Boston Children’s Hospital where she received medical care and treatment for autism, epilepsy, kidney disease, kidney dialysis and pancreatitis. The foundation supports the local community through the building and maintaining of the “Julia’s Garden and Playground” complex located in the World War I Park in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
